Express
Provides mail-in warranty coverage for the following equipment.
Qualified Headsets
Radios
Batteries (under two years old)
Subscribers with failed covered equipment will contact Muzak’s Drive-Thru Operations Center (DTOC) 800 support line to troubleshoot the nature of the failure. Once diagnosed, subscriber will ship defective parts to DTOC using prepaid shipping labels provided by Muzak. This service also provides the added benefit of advanced replacement exchange on those parts that render the system completely inoperative (i.e., the base station, vehicle detector (excluding in-ground loop and in-ground wiring), battery charger, and outside speaker and microphone).
On-Site
Provides on-site service during local business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) when a reported problem cannot be resolved using over-the-telephone diagnostics. This service is an add-on to any comprehensive or express maintenance program.
Comprehensive
An advance replacement parts program and repair depot labor coverage for the following equipment:
Wireless System Base Station
Battery Charger
Batteries (under two years old)
Qualified Headsets
Radios
Electronic Vehicle Detectors (excluding in-ground loop and in-ground wiring)
Drive-thru Speakers and Microphones
Subscribers with failed covered equipment will contact Muzak’s Drive-Thru Operations Center (DTOC) 800 support line to troubleshoot the nature of the failure. Once diagnosed, Muzak will ship advance replacement parts to the covered serviced premises. Subscriber will ship defective parts to DTOC automatic UPS pick-up.
